Audi SQ5 3.0L V6 TDI Quattro Special Edition 2021 Review

Audi SQ5 2021 Radio and Video Review

Audi launched the TDI version of its SQ5 late in December 2020 to sit alongside the TFSI version. The SQ5 has long been a favourite of mine for its balance and practicality.

Powered by a 3.0L V6 Turbo diesel engine that delivers 255kW and a healthy 700Nm of torque, driving through the brilliant Quattro system and an 8 speed tiptronic transmission. It’s good for a 0-100kmh time of 5.1 seconds and tops out at a governed 250kmh.

We drove the Special edition that includes the stunning LED matrix headlights, Black exterior styling package, front seat massagers and carbon fibre inlays. We also had optioned with Quattro sport differential, adaptive air suspension, pearl paint and something a little unusual, a climate controlled beverage holder.

Audi SQ5 TDI profile

The key to the SQ5 is the balance between performance and everyday driving. It’s luxurious, comfortable and provides a thoroughly engaging driving experience.

Priced from just under $105,000 plus options and the usual costs its definitely worth a look.
