Toyota LandCruiser 300 series GR Sport and Sahara as wedding vehicles

Is the LandCruiser 300 a good wedding vehicle

Toyota Landcruiser 300 series  trip to Byron Bay – Last week we took a couple of Toyota LandCruiser 300 series on an extended family trip to Byron Bay for a wedding.  Toyota LC 300 wedding GR Sport and Sahara

The vehicles we took were the Sahara and GR Sport. One five seat and one seven seat version.

Its pretty much dual lane freeway all the way from Sydney now, with a couple of places yet to be bypassed at Raymond Terrace and Coffs Harbour. Both vehicles were fully packed, and both provided effortless and comfortable cruising.

These vehicles are made for consuming huge distances in Australia.

The few days there showed how versatile the 300 series LandCruiser is. Both served as transport for family to and from the wedding.

The Sahara made the most of its extra seating, delivering the Groom and Groomsmen to the wedding. Four fairly tall men and the driver in wedding suits. They arrived in pristine condition.

Both vehicles served as transport for the copious amounts of wine and champagne for the wedding and the GR Sport delivered all the bridal party gear to the reception accommodation.

The wedding itself was held on a 100 acre property in the hinterland behind Byron Bay. It was a stunning location and somewhat fitting to have two iconic Landcruiser’s, that are as Australian as it comes, as part of the wedding.

Over the next few weeks, we will be chatting in more detail about both vehicles.
