Honda confirms equipment and pricing for all-new HR-V

Honda Australia has confirmed pricing and equipment details for the all-new HR-V, which is now live on the Honda website and Customer Experience Portal as part of a pre-launch phase, supported by the arrival of display vehicles at Honda Centres over the coming weeks.

The third generation of Honda’s Small SUV will be available with advanced two-motor e:HEV (hybrid electric vehicle) powertrain technology for the first time on this model, representing the next step in the brand’s commitment to introduce hybrid variants of each vehicle line with the arrival of every full model change.

When reimagining the HR-V, Honda set out to create a car with a desirable blend of stand-out design, exceptional efficiency and ultimate usability. Conceived to meet the exacting needs of modern consumers, the new model achieves a rare balance of premium SUV styling and exceptional spaciousness, with compact dimensions and easy entry and exit for passengers.

The result is a contemporary coupe-SUV body that appeals through the simplicity of its design, while its exceptionally spacious and versatile interior is more user-oriented and comfortable to sit in than ever. The all-new HR-V also achieves a desirable yet rare combination of premium SUV styling and exceptional space efficiency.

The all-new HR-V will be offered in two specification levels with two different powertrains – starting with the Vi X grade powered by an efficient 1.5-litre DOHC i-VTEC petrol engine and rising to the e:HEV L grade fitted with the advanced two-motor hybrid powertrain that delivers refined and responsive performance.

Positioned between the VTi-S and RS grades on the outgoing model, the Vi X is equipped with a range of new features and technologies, including:

Positioned above the outgoing VTi-LX, the new e:HEV L grade extends the equipment list of the Vi X even further, with a host of premium features, including:

Available to order at Honda Centres around Australia from March 31, the Vi X grade starts the all-new HR-V range with a national drive away price of $36,700*, while the high-series e:HEV L grade comes to market with a national drive away price of $45,000*.

2021 Honda HR-V e:HEV

The 2022 HR-V will be available in a choice of five exterior paint colours. Three pearlescent colours include the all-new Premium Opal, which is the hero colour for the new generation HR-V, along with Platinum White and Crystal Black, which have been carried across to the new model.

The two metallic paint colours are Meteoroid Grey, which was only recently released on Accord, and the lustrous Premium Crystal Red, which was introduced on the 11th-generation Civic late last year.
