Three Blue Crafters for Three Blue Ducks

Volkswagen Australia is proud to announce its partnership with the team of passionate chefs and avid surfers behind Three Blue Ducks; with a fleet of customized Crafter vans heading to Three Blue Ducks restaurants around the country.

Sydney, Volkswagen Australia has today announced a major partnership with the Three Blue Ducks restaurant group, who have taken delivery of a fleet of three, two-tone white and ‘Duck Blue’ Crafter vans. The partnership allows the restaurant group to provide quality and high volume catering for offsite events.

When forming the partnership, the pairing of The Ducks with Volkswagen was obvious to both parties, who share similar values.

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles director, Ryan Davies, explained the appeal of partnering with the Three Blue Ducks.

“The team at Three Blue Ducks have always stood for fresh, sustainable food and excellent experiences with friends and family; which complement our own core ‘people’s car’ values,” Mr. Davies said.

“To be able to work with a dynamic, authentic business like The Ducks, and provide them with a crucial tool of trade is very exciting, and we’re looking forward to expanding on over time,” Mr. Davies continued.

Three Blue Ducks co-owner, Jeff Bennett, shared Volkswagen’s enthusiasm for the collaboration.

“As Volkswagen owners ourselves, we have a great appreciation for where the brand is going with its vehicles and future technology, as it continues to move towards more sustainably mobility. Having a partner that shares our own values is crucial, and we can’t wait to create unique food experiences with Volkswagen,” Mr Bennett said.

In the coming months, the Three Blue Ducks’ Crafter fleet will be further customized to suit the specific needs of the expanding catering business, already in key locations like Sydney, Byron Bay and Brisbane. The List of Three Blue Ducks restaurants will soon expand to include Melbourne’s new URBNSURF surf park, where The Ducks will be able to cater to a large audience of surfers; a community close to both The Ducks and Volkswagen’s hearts.

The custom work on the Crafter fleet will be carried out by Volkswagen’s new body builders division, which partners with the industry’s best local providers to produce turn-key solutions for commercial customers.
