SsangYong Rexton Adds Limited Edition for 2022 MY

SsangYong Rexton Black Edition – SsangYong Australia has responded to demand for Rexton’s top-grade variant by introducing a Black Edition limited-edition to the top of the 2022 range.

SsangYong Rexton Black Edition

  • MY22 Rexton line-up enhanced with Black Edition
  • Dark exterior treatment for the range-topping Ultimate

In 2020, Rexton sales increase by fifty two percent over the previous year and one hundred and thirty percent in 2021, that’s a healthy average of ninety one percent with seventy four percent of customers opting for the top-grade Ultimate model. In response to this and valuable dealer and customer feedback, the 2022 Rexton range now has a new addition.

Based on the popular Ultimate model, the new Black Edition is set to impress with stylish exterior touches. The imposing front end with its diamond-shaped grille elements is further enhanced with a deep gloss black finish and new-style LED fog lights. Other dark touches include black-finish 20-inch alloy wheels and black painted roof rails.

The Rexton Black Edition will be available in two prominent body colours, Space Black or Pearl White.

SsangYong Australia national marketing manager Stevan Dimitrovski said that the Rexton Black Edition will “further enhance Rexton’s appeal through its individual styling touches.”

“The Rexton SUV range already offers customers unrivalled levels of luxurious appointments, family-friendly space with flexibility of seven seats and an impressive 3.5 Tonne towing capacity. For a modest $1,000 premium over the Rexton Ultimate, this limited edition offers a sense of sophisticated toughness and individuality to our customers.”

As with SsangYong’s customary feature-packed vehicles, the 2022 Rexton range continues to offer essential advanced safety features such as: AEB (Autonomous Emergency Braking), FCW (Forward Collision Warning), SDA (Safety Distance Warning), LCW (Lane Change-Collision Warning), BSW (Blind Spot Warning), RCTW (Rear Cross Traffic Warning) and SHB (Smart High Beam).
