Honda Foundation Donates To Radius Disability Services
Bendigo based not-for-profit organisation Radius Disability Services, will benefit from a $6,000 donation from The Honda Foundation and Innes Motors Honda.

Radius Disability Services provides supported employment opportunities to people with varying disabilities. The donation from The Honda Foundation will be used to provide further employment for people with disabilities in their garden maintenance and horticultural enterprise.

“Radius Disability Services takes individual needs into consideration, and supports equal involvement in the community from those disadvantaged by disabilities,” said Chairman of The Honda Foundation, Mr. Lindsay Smalley.

Currently employing over 170 members of the community, Radius Disability Services matches people with disabilities to jobs that cater to individual needs and choices, ensuring the best options are available to those seeking support and training.

Lawn mowers purchased with the donation are ideal for Radius Environmental Services. Radius Environmental Services offers lawn mowing, landscaping, gardening and rubbish removal services in the Bendigo area and are a contractor for the City of Greater Bendigo.

Radius’ CEO Jan Boynton said; “Radius is very grateful for this donation that has allowed the purchase of four new lawn mowers. Supported Employees at Radius Environmental Services love their job and it is fantastic that they have new equipment to allow them to achieve better results.”

The Honda Foundation aims to provide assistance to local communities and foster goodwill among Honda Australia, Honda Motor Vehicle Dealers and the public. It draws funding from Honda Dealers and Honda Australia who donate $15 ($5 and $10 respectively) for every Honda car sold.
