Genesis GV80 SUV What is it like for a young family

What is the Genesis GV80 like for a Young family

Genesis GV80 – This week I’ve been driving one of my favourite large SUV’s. The Genesis GV80 SUV.

Genesis GV80 SUVI often think of the Genesis as a luxury premier brand without the price tag. The GV80 SUV is priced from a bit under $130,000 plus the usual costs. Considering that includes everything that was previously part of the luxury pack option that’s actually excellent value.

It’s a big SUV but doesn’t look that large. The styling is surprisingly sleek.

Inside its all luxury. Deeply cushioned seats that cocoon the occupants, expansive driver instrument and central screen and the feeling of opulence all around.

There is a choice of six or seven seats, depending on what your circumstances are. I do like the six-seat option. There are Isofix mounting points on the two outer middle row seats with top tether points as well.

Boot space ranges from minimal, when using all three rows, through to cavernous with all seats folded. Plenty of room for luggage or a baby stroller and gear.

Performance comes from a 3.5 litre V6 twin turbo petrol engine. It’s a little thirsty but with All wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic transmission, it allows sporty performance. 0-100km/h in 5.6 seconds isn’t too bad considering its size.

One thing that really was noticeable was just how smooth and quiet the GV80 is to drive. It simply cruises effortlessly.

I have to say I really enjoyed my time in the GV80 SUV.
