2018 Subaru Levorg STI Sport Wagon Video Review

2018Subaru Levorg STI Sport Wagon Road Test Review

2018 Subaru Levorg STI Sports Touring Wagon frontSubaru Levorg STI Sport Overview

Subaru Levorg STI Sport continues the tradition of a sports wagon. Way back a few years they had the Subaru Liberty RS Turbo wagon which was a revelation at the time. Fast, spacious, quality build and the safety and handling security of the Subaru Symmetrical AWD system.

Fast forward to 2018 and the market has changed. With the SUV market taking up around 45% of sales, the normal wagon market has almost died.

This is a shame as there are buyers out there that may forsake the blandness of an SUV for the style and poise of a wagon such as the Subaru Levorg STI Sport.

We have previously tested the Levorg STI Sport as a family runabout on a trip shopping to IKEA.

This time we take the Levorg STI Sport to the Hunter Valley for a weekend.

Subaru Levorg STI Sport Summary

I have to admit I really like the Subaru Levorg STI Sport Wagon. The Subaru Levorg 2.0L STI Sport really could be called a STW. I just made that up, although I’m sure some clever marketing guru in one of the automotive manufacturers has used it before.

STW stands for Sports Touring Wagon. You really should ignore the use of STI on the Levorg, as it isn’t an STI in the same vein as the WRX STI. It is a road going Sports Touring Wagon. Owners of the WRX STI often race their cars on track days. The Levorg isn’t designed for that.

Its designed for a family wagon for those drivers that want more than a bland SUV. Drivers that want a little style, class, sportiness, full of safety features for the family and most of all fun to drive.

The Levorg delivers!
