Mitsubishi Motors Australia Limited’s (MMAL) high performance vehicle, the Lancer Evolution, has been updated for MY13. Offering power, precision and performance coupled with new features and attractive price points, the Evolution continues to be the most exhilarating drive in the Mitsubishi range.
The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is ready to race from just $56,990 RRP for the five-speed manual model, a reduction of $5,400 over the MY12 list price, offering customers exceptional value. The Lancer Evolution with Twin Clutch Sport Shift Transmission (TC-SST) will be available from $61,990 RRP, a $5,400 price decrease while the MY13 Lancer Evolution MR has an RRP of $65,990, a substantial price reduction of $8,900.
Powered by an inter-cooled and turbo charged 2.0-litre DOHC MIVEC engine, generating an impressive 217kW of power at 6,500 rpm and 366Nm of torque at 3,500 rpm, the Lancer Evolution provides peak performance and superb handling in all conditions.
The 13MY Evolution receives a new audio system featuring a 6.1-inch full colour display with single CD player, iPod connectivity and rear view camera interface. The Evolution MR upgrades to the new Mitsubishi Multi Communication System (MMCS) which comes with a 7-inch touch screen, iPod connectivity, voice activated Bluetooth and navigation control and 3D mapping.
Mitsubishi’s Lancer Evolution is available with five-speed manual transmission or the revolutionary TC-SST with Super All-Wheel Control system and Brembo brakes. The Evolution MR is available in TC-SST configuration only.
The Evolution five-speed manual can be enhanced through the addition of the Evolution Performance Pack, RRP $3,000. The Performance Pack adds Brembo two piece type front disc brake, Bilstein front and rear shock absorbers, Eibach front and rear springs and 18-inch BBS forged alloy wheels for a sharp, aggressive look.
Five colours are offered across the Lancer Evolution range; Starlight, Titanium, Phantom Black, Red and new colour Sapphire.
