George Biggs, Managing Director of Asia Pacific and China, McLaren Automotive, said:
“The new McLaren GT offers an elevated driving experience that is unique to McLaren. It is an exceptionally refined vehicle with class leading elegance and sophistication. Designed for clients with a sense of adventure, who are seeking both performance and continent-crossing capability. The McLaren GT will transform the great Australian road trip like no car before.
“We’re already seeing strong interest in Australia, where the GT is resonating with new and existing customers alike. It’s the perfect companion for drives across a country renowned for its great open expanses, intriguing bushland, and of course the beachside lifestyle. We’re confident our customers will agree.”
The McLaren GT reimagines the spirit of traditional Grand Touring, offering the engaging drive McLaren is known for, as well as the space, comfort and usability expected of a GT.
For the first time, the new GT features storage space in both the front and rear of the vehicle, with the ability to easily house a golf bag, beach gear, or essentials for a weekend away. The GT is also engineered to meet the requirements of Grand Touring, optimised for long-distance comfort, with the perfect amount of seating support in combination with superb lateral control.
The McLaren GT is priced from AUD$399,995 plus on-roads.
