Peugeot Australia has announced the facelifted 3008 and 5008 SUVs are set to arrive in Australia in the coming months.

Whilst full Australian specifications and pricing will be advised closer to the release date, Peugeot has revealed a number of updates we can expect when the vehicles arrive.

Both the 3008 and 5008 will receive a new powerful and refined design. A new frameless grille features at the front, while gloss black side scoops and a painted treadplate are integrated with the new bumper design as standard.

At the rear, the new Peugeot full LED lights include a ‘3D lion claw’ lighting signature and scrolling indicators. The lights feature a smoked glass lens, extending the black boot strip on either side of the vehicle.

A new 10″ colour touchscreen and multi-touch technology is available across the Peugeot 3008 and 5008 range, delivering increased functionality.

In addition, the Peugeot 3008 will welcome a new variant, GT Sport, which delivers an abundance of elegance and style.

Available exclusively on 3008 GT Sport, the “Black Pack” features “black out” trim elements and exclusive black 19″ Washington” diamond-cut alloy wheels with a unique ‘Black Mist’ varnish.

The Peugeot 3008 GT Sport also includes Nappa leather and premium French audio brand Focal’s state-of-the-art 10 speaker system as standard.

With the introduction of the facelifted 3008 and 5008 on the heels of the all-new 2008, Peugeot will have a fresh SUV range on offer in the Australian market.

The much anticipated 2008 was revealed in October last year, however it was delayed arriving in showrooms. A Peugeot Australia spokesperson has confirmed that the 2008 “has now landed in Australian showrooms and there are no current issues with stock”.

The spokesperson also confirmed that whilst there are no mechanical changes for the MY21 facelift, the 3008 range will be expanded with the introduction of a plug-in hybrid variant in the second half of the year.

Interested customers can register their interest in the facelifted Peugeot 3008 and 5008 prior to their arrival.
