2025 Electrified G80 is offered in a single, fully featured flagship Signature AWD grade powered by a new, 94.5kWh high energy density battery that brings an extended driving range of 570km (WLTP).
Headlining in the lavish cabin are a 27-inch OLED integrated multimedia display and instrument cluster, wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, Head-Up Display, Genesis Connected Services and Over the Air update capability.
Further standouts include 17-speaker Bang & Olufsen premium sound system, a UV-C Sanitising Console, Ergo Motion front and outboard rear seats, powered easy open/close rear doors, and a convenient steering wheel shortcut button for the Intelligent Speed Limit Assist system.
An extensive suite of safety and driver assistance technologies incorporates Highway Driving Assist 2, Forward Collision Avoidance-Assist 2, Lane Following Assist 2 and Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control (NSCC).

Dual-Motor AWD Powertrain
Dual motors – front and rear – deliver 136kW and 350Nm apiece, for combined maximums of 272kW and 700Nm, and a 5.1 second 0-100km/h.
2025 Electrified G80 features a new 94.5kWh fourth-generation high-voltage battery which brings driving range of 570km (WLTP) on a single charge. The battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in as little as 25 minutes using a 350kW ultra-rapid charger.

Active Noise Control – Road (ANC-R)
Active Noise Control technology significantly reduces noise in the cabin by measuring and analysing road noises with four sensors and six microphones inside the vehicle, and simultaneously creating noise-cancelling sounds at opposite phase.
Preview Electronic Control Suspension (ECS)
Preview ECS delivers optimal ride comfort by adjusting the suspension dampers in readiness for bumps and potholes ahead, drawing from the front camera image and GPS data.
Rear Wheel Steering (RWS)
Active rear wheel steering sees 2025 Electrified G80’s rear wheels steer in the opposite direction to the front wheels at low speeds, to reduce the turning circle. Then, at medium to high speed, all four wheels steer in the same direction, for maximum stability.
Safety
2025 Electrified G80 introduces the latest suite of advanced driver assistance technologies:
Forward Collision-avoidance Assist 2 (FCA2)
If the system detects a collision risk with a vehicle, pedestrian or bicycle it will warn the driver. If the driver does not take evasive action, the system will control the vehicle’s steering and braking to mitigate the risk.
FCA2 has the following functionalities for specific driving scenarios:
- Junction Crossing: Provides a warning and assistance to prevent a collision with a vehicle approaching from the left or right when driving straight at an intersection.
- Lane-change oncoming: Issues a warning and subsequent assistance to avoid a potential collision with an oncoming vehicle while changing lanes.
- Lane-change side: Provides a warning and subsequent assistance to avoid a potential collision with a vehicle ahead or in the adjacent lane while changing lanes.
- Evasive Steering Assist: Provides evasive steering assistance as required, where there is space to evade the collision.
Remote Smart Parking Assist 2 (RSPA2)
Let’s users complete perpendicular, parallel, and diagonal parking manoeuvres from outside the vehicle.
Lane Following Assist 2 (LFA2)
Helps keep the vehicle centred in the lane using the front view camera to recognise lanes and assist the driver with steering. If the camera is unable to recognise the lane, the system will use the vehicle ahead as a reference to assist with steering for a period of time.
Highway Driving Assist 2 (HDA2)
The advanced Highway Driving Assist 2 system builds on the Smart Cruise Control functionalities to support lane positioning and lane change assistance, when activated on a highway.
Hands On Detection (HOD)
Alerts the driver to regain grip of the steering wheel if it detects their hands are not on the wheel, using capacitive sensors in the rim.
Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (ISLA)
Informs the driver of the speed limit using a combination of road sign recognition and navigation data.
In addition, ISLA can assist the driver to change the set speed in Smart Cruise Control (SCC) or Manual Speed Limit Assist (MSLA).
If the recognised speed limit changes during the operation of SCC or MSLA, a corresponding increase or decrease speed message is displayed on the cluster display and HUD, prompting the driver to update the set speed using the plus and minus SCC buttons on the steering wheel.
Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist – Forward/Side/Reverse (PCA-F/S/R)
Helps mitigate collisions while manoeuvring at low speeds by warning the driver if a collision risk is detected. The system can also apply the brakes if needed.
Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA)
Warns the driver if there is a collision risk with a vehicle approaching from behind on either side. After warning the driver, if the risk increases, the system can automatically steer and brake the vehicle to help avoid a collision.
Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA)
Helps prevent a collision with a pedestrian, vehicle or object during slow manoeuvring by sounding an alert and, if required, providing braking assistance.
Navigation–based Smart Cruise Control (NSCC)
Helps maintain a safe speed on the highway by automatically slowing the vehicle when approaching low-speed zones or curved sections, and then returning the vehicle to its pre-set speed.
Convenience
27-inch OLED integrated display
The 27-inch ultra-large OLED integrated display seamlessly combines the cluster and infotainment screens, to provide a 30 percent larger information area. This wide-screen creates a high-tech sense of luxury and provides crisp clarity.
The driver can interact with the screen using touch, voice, or dial commands. In addition, when using the satellite navigation system, the map display can be overlayed across the entire screen, with driving information presented on the Head-Up Display.
Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto
Drivers can now wirelessly connect their compatible smartphone to the car to control various apps using the infotainment screen. Music can be displayed either on the multimedia screen or as a widget in the cluster. When using phone navigation, the map can appear in the cluster while other apps are displayed on the multimedia screen.
Next-generation Genesis integrated Graphical User Interface
Updated cluster, navigation, and head-up display user interfaces reflect a consistent graphic concept, enhancing clarity and instilling a sense of luxury.
Voice recognition controls
User convenience is enhanced by providing natural language-based voice recognition control for functions such as the air conditioning, windows, sunroof, boot, seat heating and ventilation, heated side mirrors, and more.
Rear Door Easy Close System
The rear doors can be automatically closed from inside the vehicle with the press of a button on the door trim. When exiting the vehicle, pressing the button allows the door to be opened with a light push.
Electric charging door
An electric open and close function for the front grille-mounted charging door, along with inlet lighting and a newly designed charging indicator all underpin maximum convenience when plugging in.
Smart Washer Injection (SWI)
Washer jets integrated into the wiper arms provide improved vision while spraying washer fluid as well as reducing operating noise and washer fluid usage.
Bang & Olufsen Sound System
A 17-speaker Bang & Olufsen Sound System delivers rich high-resolution audio with the benefit of Beosonic™, for intuitive personalisation of the tonal quality.
UV sterilisation compartment
A UV light-steriliser beneath the centre console armrest uses UV-C LED lamps to remove harmful bacteria from items such as wallets and sunglasses.
Heated centre console armrest
Adjustable heating in the lid of the centre console armrest contributes to maximum comfort when it’s cold.
