Available from launch in two specification levels – Essential and Premium – the Atto 2 features a 51.13kWh Blade battery and a single permanent magnet synchronous motor. Both specs boast 130kW and 290Nm, with BYD’s 8-in-1 powertrain sending drive to the front wheels.

Which integrates

  • the motor,
  • reducer,
  • motor controller,
  • on-board charger,
  • DC-DC converter,
  • high-voltage distribution unit (PDU),
  • battery management system (BMS), and
  • control unit (VCU).

This class-leading powertrain not only greatly reduces NVH levels for a peerless driving experience, but also enhances vehicle reliability.

Dynamically, the Atto 2 benefits from a Macpherson strut up front and a torsion beam at the rear. With the suspension tuned for a smooth driving experience. That’s equally at home in the urban sprawl or out on the open road.
