Suzuki ambassador Lydia Lassila hot hatch challenge
Suzuki ambassador and aerial skiing champion Lydia Lassila has issued a challenge to would be hot hatch fans.

The world Cup and Olympic champion has clocked a fast time in practise for the Swift Sport Hot Lap Challenge and the race is on to find five challengers.

Lassila will be joined by a bevy of Suzuki stars, including world snowboard champion Alex Chumpy Pullin and star players from the table topping Melbourne Storm

“I’ve clocked a time I think is good enough to win,” a confident Lassila said yesterday. “And on May 7 I’m ready to go even faster.”

Hot hatch fans who think they can better the Suzuki Olympic champion line-up are invited to follow the link at facebook.com/SuzukiAustralia and accept the challenge.

The five lucky winners will receive expert training from the John Bowe Driving School and then have the chance to explore the limits of a new Swift Sport in the safe confines of a race track.

Lassila, however, is confident she can match all comers.

“I am a huge motor sport fan, so The Swift Sport Hot Lap Challenge is a great way for me to train my competitive nerve as I start preparing to defend my title at the 2014 Winter Olympic Games.
