Peppers Salt Resort and Spa – Kingscliff Tweed Coast NSW

The NSW and QLD border on the east coast is an interesting area. It is a mix of agricultural land with mainly sugar cane on the NSW side with some residential development and heavy development on the QLD side.

It makes for an odd trip in that there is actually so much to do and see of very different nature all within an hour’s drive.

I experienced this last week on the launch of the Jaguar E-PACE AWD SUV. The launch was based at the Peppers Salt Resort and Spa in Kingscliff NSW.

The Peppers resort is a fitting place for the launch of the Prestige Jaguar SUV and the launch drive program took in some of the local sights, hilly twisty roads and attractions.

The Resort itself is located 20 minutes south of the Gold Coast Airport and 30 minutes’ drive from Byron Bay. It is a 100m minute walk to the beach.

They also range from one to three bedrooms and unlike a lot of resorts they have kitchenettes to allow for families to save money by cooking themselves.

Given the tropical climate, all rooms are air-conditioned, but have access to balconies etc. for quiet reflection in the fresh air.

The facilities were still fresh and clean, the bed very comfortable and more on the firm side which I like. It’s the little things that make differences in your stay. Bedside lamps were great and allowed the room to be well lit. I hate hotel rooms where the lighting is dim.

On my stay I found the staff super helpful and friendly. Now you might say that because we were on a conference they had to be, but it just seemed natural for them and they all seemed happy, which often reflects in their treatment of guests.

I have to say, sitting around the pool, enjoying a beer in the balmy weather is one of life greatest joys.
