Isuzu MU-X LS-T Snow Trip 2022

We drive the MU-X LS-T to the snow

MU-X LS-T  – Last week we headed to the snow for a long overdue ski holiday thanks to Covid lockdowns last year. We were lucky enough to have an Isuzu MU-X LS-T as one of the vehicles we took.

In NSW if you have a 4WD or even AWD you don’t need to take snow chains and the Terrain Command 4WD system on the Isuzu is ideal for snow and icy driving conditions.

Inside there is more room than you imagine and plenty of room behind the middle seats for luggage and ski boots etc. Lay down one of the middle seats and the skis fit comfortably.

With front heated seats those cold snow mornings aren’t a bother and the general heating of the cabin with dual zone A/C means that everyone is cosy inside.

Considering the snow is a long trip Sydney, the smooth ride and handling of the MU-X allows relaxed driving as does the 3.0L turbo diesel with enough power and torque for easy highway cruising. Set the cruise control and away you go. Of course the MU-X is class leading in safety feature for the family as well.

With the current exorbitant price gouging from petrol companies diesel is expensive and the MU-X is economical. We used around 9.0l/100k on our trip. Don’t forget to fill up on Alpine diesel as you get closer to the snow fields.

Isuzu MU-X LS-T is priced from about $67,500 plus the usual costs and is an ideal family 4WD for the snow holidays
