The main story however is that through some clever computer modifications the 3.0L V6 diesel engine produces a healthy 200kW of power and a stump pulling 580 Nm of torque allowing for relaxed driving, towing and cruising.
Priced from $71,990 plus on road costs the only option is metallic paint at a cost of $610.
The Amarok 580 is suited to those drivers that will spend most of their time on normal roads, with an occasional outback adventure. It makes an excellent towing vehicle as well.
