ŠKODA Kodiaq 2022 model upgrades Motoring Minute News

ŠKODA has upgraded their popular Kodiaq range that was first introduced in 2017. Kodiaq sits as a direct competitor to Kia Sorento, Hyundai Santa Fe and Mazda CX-8.

The Kodiaq comes in three grades, which come with all-wheel drive and generous standard specification: Kodiaq StyleKodiaq Sportline and, of course, Kodiaq RS. Style and Sportline feature a familiar 132kW/320Nm petrol engine.

The upgraded RS version runs a 180kW/370Nm 2.0 litre turbo petrol driven through a 7-speed DSG transmission and AWD. This will run from 0-100kmh in 6.6 secs and top out at 230kmh. Its quick and responsive.

Clever design isn’t just a catchphrase for ŠKODA, it’s a core philosophy. Standard features across the range include: door edge protection, rear seat sun blinds, a 9.2-inch touch-screen, and native satellite navigation, Virtual Cockpit for the driver, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto plus wireless charging.

Pricing starts at $52,990 RDAP through to $74,990 RDAP for the RS model.

ŠKODA Kodiaq is sometimes an underappreciated seven seat family SUV but definitely worth a drive
