Peugeot 508 GT Fastback 2021 Review

Peugeot 508 GT brings French elegance to a segment that isn’t often well known for stylish design. Alongside Audis A5, the 508 GT is probably the most attractive large sedan on the market.

With a 1.6L 4 Cyl Turbo Petrol producing power of 165 kW @ 5500 and peak torque of 300 Nm at 2750 rpm, driving the front wheels through an 8 speed AT. It will zip along from 0-100km/h in just 8.1 seconds, top out at 250kmh all while sipping fuel at an ADR rate of just 6.3L/100km.

With a 4 choice drive mode, adaptive suspension, direct feedback steering the 508GT matches many other European sedans for driver engagement. It’s well balanced, sits flat through corners and cruises with ease on the freeway.

508 GT is also extremely well equipped with digital i-Cockpit that can be individualised, 10 inch central touch screen, heated front seats with massage function and a 10 speaker sound system amongst a host of other safety and luxury items.

With stunning design combined with the practicality of four doors and a lift back boot, the 508GT is also outstanding value at only $57,490 plus the usual costs.
