Nissan Qashqai details released

Qashqai – Nissan has released more details of their upcoming new Qashqai model which gives a clear indication of what the market is coming to expect in a regular car.

The vehicle was designed in Europe, and has a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating. Features include centre far-side airbags for occupant-to-occupant protection, intelligent cruise, blind-spot intervention, and rear passenger air vents. Having traveled over 800 km in the back of an old Qashqai, vents in the back will be a welcome addition.

There’s a slight increase in power from the 1.3-litre turbocharged engine: an extra 4kW, with torque up by 50Nm — raising the figures to 110kW and 250Nm
