The All-New, All-Electric Mazda CX-6e offers a futuristic aesthetic, advanced technology and the signature Mazda Jinba Ittai driving experience, and is available for pre-order at Mazda dealers across Australia with an enticing value proposition.

The Mazda CX-6e debuts a new Kodo-design concept – “FUTURE + SOUL x MODERN” – and features long and sleek proportions that accentuate the vehicle’s beltline, evoking a sense of speed and demanding road presence.

The upper-front grille and rear pillars conceal aerodynamic ducts that appear to be floating above the CX-6e’s body, influencing airflow around the vehicle and ensuring improved battery efficiencies and a smoother driving experience.

The front of the Mazda CX-6e features Mazda’s iconic signature wing, now updated with an illuminated signature, symbolic of Mazda’s electrification era. Inspired by the Iconic SP concept car, the centre of each wingtip encompasses a focal point, reminiscent of focused eyes.

Nestled on an ample 2,902mm wheelbase, the interior – like its sedan sibling, the Mazda 6e – embodies the Japanese concept of “ma” (the beauty of empty space), creating an open and inviting environment akin to a living room. The central display is enveloped by 256-colour ambient lighting and floats above the dashboard, offering occupants a high-tech and immersive experience, infused with Mazda’s signature craftsmanship.

Mated to a 78 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, the Mazda CX-6e will be exclusively offered with a RWD electric motor, capable of delivering up to 190 kW of power and 290 Nm of torque.

Equipped with a CCS Type-2 charging port, it is also capable of DC charging from 30-80 percent in as little as fifteen minutes and boasts a WLTP range of up to 484 km combined.

The All-Electric Mazda CX-6e arrives in two amply equipped model grades, comprising GT and the flagship Azami, with both offering indisputable value for Australian customers.

Both the CX-6e GT and Azami will support the dedicated Mazda EV app and Bluetooth key functionality, providing utmost convenience and peace of mind to owners. Features include remote climate control operation, door locking/unlocking, power window operation and vehicle tracking.

Safety

Standard safety technologies are abundant across the CX-6e range, including Smart Brake Support for turning across traffic with pedestrian and cyclist detection, as well as Rear Cross Traffic Alert. Blind Spot Monitoring, Emergency Brake Assist and Lane-Keep Assist also make their way to the range, working seamlessly with the CX-6e’s unobtrusive Driver Monitoring System.

Colour range

The vehicle debuts an all-new colour for the brand – Nightfall Violet Mica – also arriving as the flagship colour for the vehicle. The remainder of the palette comprises of metallic paints, including Soul Red Crystal Metallic, Machine Grey Metallic, Aero Grey Metallic and Airstream Blue Metallic. Crystal White Pearl Mica and Jet Black Mica round out the carefully curated, seven-strong body colour selection.

Mazda Australia confirms provisional specification of the all-new, All-Electric Mazda CX-6e ahead of a late 2026 arrival onto Australian shores.

Hand-crafted by Takumi artisans using traditional clay modelling techniques, the Mazda CX-6e introduces the “FUTURE + SOUL x MODERN” Kodo-design concept – fusing the soulful craftsmanship of Kodo design with a modern, futuristic aesthetic – and delivers the acclaimed Jinba-Ittai driving dynamics.
