Land Rover Defender 110 X P400 2021 Review

Land Rover Defender goes upmarket with its X P400 version. Here is a luxury 4WD that has true 4WD capability combined with great performance and exemplary on road ride and handling.

The X Version comes with a number of luxury additions, such as 14 way electronically adjusted heated front seats, extended contrast leather interior, 20 inch alloy wheels, plus more.

For someone my size, larger than the average bear, the Defender is as close to perfect as it gets in terms of fit and comfort. The centre console bin, door arms, reach to steering wheel, head room etc are all spot on for me for relaxed and comfortable driving.

The P400 is powered by the 3.0L inline six cylinder mild hybrid turbo petrol engine. It produces power and torque of 294kW and 550Nm running through an 8 speed AT. Defender comes with the Terrain response 2 dual range 4WD system.

Defender has up to 291mm ground clearance, 900mm wading depth, excellent approach and departure angles and will easily tow 3500kg.

Price for the Defender X P400 starts at $145,166 with options taking it up to $156,780 plus the usual costs.
