Priced from $29,990 driveaway for the manual version, the 1.9L SX SCC provides 110kW/350Nm and being an Isuzu you know the new engine is built to last and work hard.

The beauty of this model is that it comes well equipped with a standard Alloy tray, measuring 2,550mm x 1,777mm (length x width) with drop down sides and a multitude of internal tie-down points.

Other standard features include five star safety rating and Isuzu’s Intelligent Driver Assistance System (IDAS). Wireless Apple Car Play and auto high beam headlights plus more.

Payload is excellent at 1380kg for the AT version and a touch more for the MT version. I loaded a touch over a tonne of pavers in the tray and headed north to deliver them. The 1.9L drove ok, occasionally hunting up and down the gears on hills, but for most of the driving it sat comfortably on the motorway speed limit on cruise control. Economy was 9.0L/100K on that trip

The 1.9L engine Isuzu SX SCC is an welcome addition to the existing range of work Utes.
