Audi has released the S5 Sportback, Coupe and Cabriolet highlighting that sports cars are not dead in the swing to SUVs. The stylishly designed models are powered by a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 engine that produces 260kW, and peak torque of 500Nm available from as low as 1370rpm.
This is enough for a 0-100kmh time of a touch under 5 seconds with a governed top speed of 250kmh. They can be surprisingly economical as well.
S5 models have a fast shift 8 speed tiptronic transmission and Audi quattro system with a lockable centre diff. S-specific sport suspension with adaptive damper control ensures superb ride and dynamics as you would expect.
the interior matches the performance with upgraded infotainment connectivity and Audi virtual cockpit amongst a long list of features. Special mention goes to the stunningly good LED matrix lighting system.
Pricing for the S5 Sportback and Coupe $106,500 and S5 Cabriolet is $120,000 plus the usual costs
