Audi RS7 Sportback 4 4L V8 TFSI Quattro 2021 Review

Audi builds some beautiful cars, none more so than the RS7 Sportback Quattro. They take what is perhaps one of the most visually appealing models and add the potent 4.4L V8 TFSI engine that transforms it into a howling beast.

The RS7 is fast with a 0-100 time of 3.6 seconds, will hit a touch over 300kmh and is relatively economical. But that doesn’t do it justice.

This is perhaps the personification of the refined high performance sport car that you would be happy to drive from Sydney to Cairns and back again simply for the pure delight of the drive.

Yes it’s full of comfort and luxury features as well as the full suite of safety functions as you would expect, but the essence of the RS7 is its ability to cocoon its passengers in luxury while hiding its true sporty nature.

Driving the RS7 you experience the pure elegance of the complete design. It’s not brutal or screams look at me like some other EUROPEAN top spec sports saloons, yet it is every bit as fast and in many ways more refined.

Priced from $224,000 plus the usual costs it’s the perfect balance between true sports car performance and everyday practicality
